Shifting cattle and plans is a constant theme, but all part of Bradley’s masterplan that is staying flexible and keeping up with new ideas. Genetics play a key role, always advancing.

The market or the management

The market or the management

The crystal ball is nonexistent. There is no magic fortune teller. No matter how good the market forecast nobody is right 100% of the time. That doesn’t mean cattlemen have to look at the future as nothing more than a blind guess.

“Do we just sign up? Or get special ear tags?”

CAB at 40: the beef community’s brand

The Certified Angus Beef ® (CAB®) brand turned 40 this year, tapping into an increased well of available and qualified cattle, up 25% in two years. A mark to remember

A mark to remember

Some of the CAB team at the time were, candidly, more optimistic than me. We did the math and looked at so many of the trend lines that were in place from acceptance rates to certified head count. I wondered if the industry could respond.
